Just made this and brought it along to Easter lunch – not having tried it before. If you like really rich desserts then this hits the spot. Thought it was fantastic – as did others who are not vegan. Just dented the common misconception that the vegan diet is boring (again!). Doubled up the ingredients as suggested in the recipe notes and it came out a treat. Served with Swedish Glace non dairy ice-cream which really complemented it.

This is beautiful! I’m not vegan (but I am lactose-intollerant vegetarian, so I might decide to do it one day!) so I often use recipes with butter but I’m trying to cut that down. Plus, I don’t have much food in the house but felt like something sweet. So easy to do. I love this podcast. A lot of health/vegan books and recipes out there list obsure and expensive ingredients so I love that I can cook vegan with nothing special.

It was very easy but not sweet enough for my taste. I didn’t use the chips, so will try it again using those. I enjoy watching your podcast on my bus trip into work!

Thanks for the fantastic recipe! I’ve recently discovered your podcast, and have really enjoyed it. I couldn’t resist making this one the day after I downloaded the podcast, and it was great. Turned out beautifully. I’ll make this one again for sure.
